This is personal information that you give us by:

  • filling in forms via womeninlistedderivatives.org (‘our Site’) or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise,
  • information you provide when you register to attend one of our EU based events or use the London pages of our Site, search for any WILD network service or event offered, participate in discussion boards or other social media functions offered by us; enter a WILD competition, promotion or survey, or when you report a problem with our Site.

It may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone numbers, work history or current employment details, financial and credit card information, personal description and/or photograph.

We may receive information about you from any financial organisation or third party who may be an employer, sponsor or other similar organisation who may provide personal data for the sole purpose of recommending you to our global WILD network or the promotion of a derivative industry-based event.

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Mostly we use your personal data:

  • where we need to perform any obligation that we have entered into with you, such as hosting an event, performing membership services or any contract that we may have entered into or to provide you with information pertaining to WILD related matters; or
  • with your prior consent, sharing your information with other third parties for their own purposes, subject to their separate privacy policies and where your interests and fundamental rights do not override those purposes for e.g our WILD non-EU organisations or speakers or other attendees at our WILD events; or
  • for internal operations and to administer our Site, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes. Again to ensure that WILD related content is presented in the most effective manner for you; or

If you are a WILD London supporter or member, we may contact you by electronic means (e-mail or SMS) with information about events and services offered by us or our WILD network. If you are on our global mailing list, and where we permit selected third parties to use your data for marketing purposes, we (or they) will contact you  with your prior consent. You have the right to withdraw consent to marketing at any time by contacting us at wilderivativeslondon@gmail.com

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules where this is required or permitted by law. If you wish for an explanation as to how the processing for the new GDPR purpose is compatible with the original data privacy purpose, please Contact us (see below) or look at the UK government www.ico.org.uk site.
